The law association 1901 “WORLD SCHOOLS” was born at the beginning of the years 90 of the will of French people residing abroad and wishing to help with the education of disadvantaged children . Since the head office is located in Isère in Corbelin in the heart of the Rhône region – Alpes – Auvergne.
The main objective is to help the education of disadvantaged children whose families, sometimes single-parent, are deprived :
-with payment of tuition and boarding fees if necessary,
-by financing the equipment or construction of classes,
-through the purchase of educational materials,
-by enabling teacher training,
-by supporting the child’s school career.
Our resources come from individual sponsorships, collective sponsorships, donations from our members, the work of volunteers during the events we organize, without forgetting the proceeds from the sale of local crafts.
100% funding from godparents is used entirely for the children's education, because we constantly seek to keep the association's operating costs at a very low level.
Over time, strong and deep human relationships have been woven between the godparents and their godchild(e).
At the start of sponsorship, these are exchanges by mail then sometimes, the time comes for meetings and they are always moving moments…
